A century ago, someone bought these gold leaf sheets for a window theyd never see. Always meant for a storefront, waiting a hundred years to find a home. When @chesperry rolled in, He was hauling an antique sign painters kit that he picked up 40 years ago from another old retired sign painter whod been packing it around for decades. It was packed with deadstock boxes of gold leaf from the 1920s. That first owner mustve bought them when he started, never knowing where they would land or whose window hed used them on.Those gold leaf sheets are what youre watching being laid onto our front window by @chesperry in this film by @rightwaysigns. This is not fast work at all. Every letter is a reminder that this is why nobody does this this way anymore. For our 100th year, it felt pretty good to be able to dress up the @bureauoftourism windows the way they wouldve been done back when Wandawega first openedThanks a bunch & forever to our friend @chesperry, @alexhperry80Pic 4: @bobcoscarelli
