In 1967, Michigan auto racer Pete McNichol welded pontoons onto a bicycle frame and the motor-less water bike was born. Next came the tandem benchseat models (sun awning optional). Since the 70s mom & pop lake resorts started offering these colorful rentals for guest recreation and activity programs.P.S.
