GOOD MORNING Heres to the little things that help us wake up (Including DJ Cassidys song pick for Wisconsin)If youre a child of the 70s you might also remember starting your day with soap on a rope. They bring us back to camp showers of our youth.Weve wanted to make these forever! So we just partnered up with the folks at Two Hearted Ale to make a different kind of camp gear. We think that Hope (and soap on a rope) Are all due for their comeback.Theyre handmade with coconut, safflower, & hemp oil (plus coffee grounds for scrubbing). These fish are infused with eucalyptus & peppermint, then tied up on a hemp rope. Theyre kind to the planet & you can get em at @BellsBrewery, in their brick & mortar shop, and in our little store at camp.*This little collab is one of a couple of different products that were making to help kick off our bigger partnership: A Two Hearted summer hideaway event were hosting. (To learn how to get a chance to come, head over toBellsbeer.com/twoheartedhideawayThanks to our soap-on-a-rope volunteer model: @zach_arias_ and to @nathanbobey for the pics

The ONE design element that holds more power than anything else to connect to you your childhoodI loved all the questions I got from @laura.alice.fenton @housebeautiful – the things that make us think about the choices we make when we are designing a space it was fun to share some of the things Ive learned works and what I avoid at all costs ( Story just out this week )..And loved that they featured photos by our friends @taylorhallobrien and @bobcoscarelli – if you need an interiors photographer, check them out (they both have the unique talent of making any space look way better than it deserves)

This past week, designers from @studiokcreative descended upon camp for their annual creative rereat Things got a little weird. (And were here for it.)@karenherold, youve created something special bringing this crew together

ADULTS ONLY (not really)*biker campers always get priority parking here*First pic:This crew rolled in this past weekend to set up in our new 100 year old log cabins in the back acres. Thanks @nbcchicagotoday @catiekeogh and @dottiedziub for the shout out this week! Little things i loved at Mackinac last week…The entrance matt at the Chippewa. The Woods restaurant (that you can only get to by horse & carriage)The way the soldier bunks are made in the fort barracks. (those U.S. medallions on the headboards )The pewter mugs lining the ceiling of the jockey club on the Grand Hotel estate. The lady named Jane who took us to the basement of her 3rd generation souvenir shop on the main drag… and let us explore generation of deadstock souvenirs (research digging for Wandawegas upcoming centennial year)The private tour of the even more private Silver Birches estate (liz ware, you are doing preservation work for the ages)The friends we got to spend 4 days with at this magic island – thank you @lori_seidemann & @struggle_inc for inviting our fam to tag along with yoursThese two turkeys in the first pic- (my heart worn daily on both sleeves). And seeing David for the first time in 25 years wear a ball cap the little things that we love the most are always the biggest.
