And a second for the hillhouse.* Best TINY SHACKS makeovers: Rose Cottages – a cluster of 17th- and 18th-century fishermens shanties on eastern bluff, famed for their storybook charm, cedar shingles covered in roses* Best BOOKSTORE: @mitchellsbookcorner Since 1968 (in an 1846 brick cornerstone)(Picked up a book on the 20s artist colony here). I die for this legacy of artists in a rural vacation community. #LifeGoals* Best DAYTRIP:@mvcampmeeting – Cottage Camp in Marthas vineyard. If you also happen to be an obsessive vintage Jeep/Bronco/Land Rover/Blazer lover youve got a good reason to visit Nantucket. Weve been on the hunt for a new ride – no shortage of inspiration on the island. A few of our drive by favorites now that were back home (as of 2:00 am this morning) Im just starting to grasp how much folks are willing to pay for these things – well likely just resort to what we always do- find a sleeper in somebodys barn & fix her up. (It for sure isnt gonna be the most collectible version, but the hunt is the fun part)
