Tomboy Style

In the past few years, I’ve started dressing way more tomboyish. Skinny jeans and plaid button-downs with hunter boots or moccasins…I dress like a retired painter living in the woods of Michigan, at least that’s how I’d characterize it. In addition to my expensive love of J.Crew, my style is heavily influenced by blogs and bloggers. Tomboy Style is one of my favorites. Jamie and Neil’s quirky camp wedding

I never tire of summer camp weddings. Rustic style and a laid-back vibe, combined with spending a whole weekend hanging out with your nearest and dearest? I can’t imagine a better way to celebrate.  While searching for a venue for our wedding last fall, I came across Jamie and Neil’s wedding at Camp Pendalouan. MEET HILLARY. your new camp counselor.

And finally, third in the ‘camp counselor series’ is HILLARY SCHUSTER! Chicago-dweller, party-thrower, crafter, information designer, pop-culture obsessor, coffee drinker, nerd, recovering engineer, cat owner, beer lover, wife, daughter, sister, friend (and I have to add: lovely style maven + bundle of inspiration) Here’s a little something about Hillary: RESIDING AT…An apartment in Ravenswood with my husband Michael and our 2 cats. meet hillary & michael.

a pair of crazy talented creatives in chicago (hillary /  michael), whose style i covet beyond words. they (almost) got married in our backyard 🙂 we are so happy that they shared some pretty amazing photos with us of their summercamp wedding. i heart every freaking detail–from the feathers on their invitations to the propping of the tables. congrats, kids. well done!! here is their lovely booklet invitation… a fantastic spread by their photographer steven michael can be found here!
