long overdue…. but we had a lovely visit from our friends at the fabulous POST FAMILY this past winter. i love to see Wanda shots thru the lens of creatives from different disciplines. in this case: Â chad, sam, rod, alex, eric, davey & dave they camped out at the lodge for a weekend. cooked. hung out. and designed a new website for their amazing collaborative. here are some snaps- check out their entire photo series here

we always wondered why the staircase from the old hotel dropped down the hill and ended up in the lake. where did it go? a boathouse? an old peir now long gone? wandawega was built in the 1920’s. over the decades, entire sections have dissapeared, including peirs, verandas, small buildings and… boardwalks. we finally got our answer when a few years ago the Chicago Tribune paid us a visit and did a little story on band camp – soon after, folks started coming out of the woodwork to share stories of visits here dating back to the 1940’s, when it was run…

 a few weeks ago fashion design company HOUND paid us a visit to shoot their new clothing campaign. the clothes are so beautiful it hurts, and the photography is insane (courtesy of brian guido and julia stotz). these are some of my favorite snaps from the weekend. hounddesign.com The inspiration for the spring/summer 2011 collection was found by looking to the stars, navigating bodies of water and studying geometric shapes found in shadows.
