Weekend vibes. We are like underground beavers working away in projects during our off season. Were under construction, making some changes to the old main lodge to add a couple of new guest amenity rooms.More on that soonin the meantime – looking forward to spring (and reminded by @missnortherner )
Eeek! Just got a call from one of our favorite magazines (cant say which one it is yet) but its fast- -the editor and crew is flying in to do a shoot in a couple weeks so Ive been pouring over past shoots we styled here – for these story shots, We already had all the server ware ( cause I have a shopping problem) So this morning Ive been pulling out the prop closet trunks and digging through the prop rooms to find new (old) things. This ones going to be a fun one, cant wait to share it.One of the blessings of doing feature spreads is that it gives me more ways to post rationalize my antique vessel hoarding tendencies. #hoarderswithoutborders

Wandawega Dining Hall
The Wandawega Dining Hall that served its last meal over 60 years ago reopens its doors. This little spot is coming back to life with the local best as well as star chefs from Chicago and beyond. From 1925-1961, Wandawega Lake Resort served 3 meals a day in the dining hall of our original main lodge for guests. When we bought camp, we found all the original tables, chairs, and hoards of serverware from its restaurant days. It’s taken us 17 years of dreaming of bringing it back so we’re so excited to read about its re-opening in the new…
